- Do you have insurance cover?- Yes we are fully insured with $2 million public liability cover providing peace of mind for our clients and their property. 
- Are you qualified arborists?- Yes our lead arborist Gage Ward holds a Level 4 qualification in arboriculture and has over 13 years of experience in the industry. 
- Do you provide free quotes?- Yes we offer free no obligation quotes. We are happy to visit your site, assess the work, and provide a clear written estimate. 
- Do you clean up after the job?- Absolutely. We take pride in leaving every site clean and tidy. All branches, logs, and debris are removed unless the customer requests otherwise. 
- Do I need council consent to remove a tree?- In some cases especially for protected trees or those on public land, consent may be required. We can advise you and assist with the application process if needed. 
- Do you take away the wood, or can we keep it?- It is entirely up to you. We can take everything away, or you can keep the firewood or mulch if you prefer. 
- What areas do you service?- We are based in Rotorua and service the wider Rotorua District, including nearby rural areas. 
- What kind of tree work do you specialise in?- We cover all aspects of arboriculture, including tree removals, pruning, crown lifting, deadwooding, hedge trimming, and storm damage clean up. 
- Is tree work dangerous?- Yes, arboriculture is classified as high risk work. That’s why we use qualified professionals, adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, and carry full insurance. 
- What happens if it rains on the day of the job?- We work in most weather conditions, but if safety is compromised (e.g high winds) we will reschedule at no cost to you. 
- How soon can you do the job?- This depends on our current schedule but we always try to accommodate urgent jobs where possible. Contact us for our next available date. 
- Will your equipment damage my lawn or driveway?- We take every precaution to minimise impact. If access is tricky or soft ground is an issue we will discuss protective measures before we begin. 
- Can I get a regular pruning schedule set up?- Yes. We can create a maintenance schedule tailored to your property to ensure your trees remain healthy and safe year round. 
- Do you offer emergency call outs for storm damaged trees?- Yes we provide a 24/7 emergency service for hazardous or fallen trees. Safety is our top priority. 
- Are you health & safety accredited? - Yes. Quality Trees Rotorua is SHE Pre-Qual accredited, meeting the highest standards of health and safety required for council and commercial contracts.
